Get off my back!

For crying out loud, I don’t see any of YOU posting your compilation CDs. I’m doing the best I can!
Why can’t we all just get along?

I thought we were all just using LastFM for that. Really what is more likely to indicate your ultimate compilation CD than your LastFM Personal Radio?
I’m jumping back on your back now.
I am glad that TinFoiled is working on his compilation CD – I thought that everyone had forgotten. Well done, sir! I have bought 5 blank CDs to house the compilations once they are received.
As for Glenn’s query about the difference between LastFM and personal compilations, the difference is illustrated by this example:
a) Here are 1000 songs that I mostly like. They are in no particular order or pattern. There is no structure. What do you think?
- Hmmm.
b) Here is a carefully constructed 74 minute representation of what I like about music. For each entry, I give a short blurb on why I chose the song for this compilation and what it means to me. What do you think?
- Yes!
I know, I was just hoping to weasel out of having to put thought and effort into making mine…
My compilation (which is excellent) is nearly finished. I want to compress a few songs from 320 bitrate to 192 bitrate (to save you all the download time) and I want to write up a clever synopsis as Snowy did.
In the meantime, may I suggest that you download and listen to something from The Killers “Hot Fuss”. They are a Las Vegas band that are the new darlings of the UK music scene – even Morrissey recommends them! The Killers have gleefully taken the later-new-wave sounds of Duran Duran, the Cure, U2 and Pulp and added some driving rock to the mix. Listen to “Mr Brightside”, “Somebody Told Me” and “All These Things That I’ve Done”.
That’s all for now.
